This is my first shot at a Mandala.
Willowing is generously offering a free Mandala Art class.
I haven't been able to get over there to watch all of the videos, and learn the "real" technique, but
I wanted to try a quick doodle anyway, so I did this using my watercolor pencils.
This was so fun and relaxing, that I will definitely get back there for more practice and tips!
Thanks for dropping by!
I am linking up my Mandala Art to
Paint Party Friday
Do head over and check out some of the other artists entries.
There is so much inspiration over there!
See you soon,
Becca

I love a Mandala and its meaning. When we started building our new house we were able to name our road ...I named it Mandala Lane as I felt we have gone full circle in life.

Vibrant and juicy...LOVE the color and pattern play, Becca! This is a lovely mandala. I love creating mandalas, there is definitely something very serene and calming when making one. Thanks for the tip about the free class--much check out that link. Had a lot studio time at the holiday weekend--bliss! ;o) Happy Days ((HUGS))
really lovely. I love the close ups you took too! The texture of the paper! So pretty!
Hi Becca, The mandala is lovely, and I can see how it would be so enjoyable to draw - very peaceful.
You left me a comment, asking what type of printer I have. Well, I actually have an inexpensive scanner/printer (Brother MFC 885CW) that I wouldn't recommend. I have to spend quite a bit of time manipulating colours before printing, and even then I often add more colour (pencil or paint on top of the print). I am hoping one day to afford a better printer.
